Multi-lingual 119 call service has started / 119番通報等における多言語通訳体制の運用について
In order to make the emergency service operation “119”smooth, Uji City has started the 5-language (English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Portuguese) simultaneous telephone interpretation service operated by a private simultaneous interpretation firm.
宇治市を訪れる外国人観光客や市内に居住する留学生など、日本語を介してのコミュニケーションが困難な方からの119番通報及び、災害現場の対応を円滑に行うため、電話同時通訳サービス（民間通訳業者）を用いた通信体制の運用を開始しています。
